Anti-poaching camps get kit from Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT)
A wildlife conservation trust, an NGO has planned to provide kit to the anti-poaching camps in the Khanapur forest. This NGO is involved in the conservation of tigers and other wild species across the country. The kit will include items like sleeping bags, mobile charger, solar torch and health related material, it is also helping the forest department to protect the tigers in Bhimgad sanctuary. Till now WCT has developed over 1800 anti-poaching camps across the country and has donated around 3750 vehicles to the forest department.It is also conducting sessions for students and teachers to educate about wildlife.
