Gang of 10 arrested

A gang of 10 members was arrested yesterday in Huballi. This gang is said to be Gujarat based gang of interstate burglars that had stolen Rs. 1 lack last month from a car near college road.

During interrogation they confessed of stealing money from a car in Belagavi. Khadebajar police presented them to the local court, which sent them to the police custody. Sources said, that these gang members operate in different locations and they keep on changing their locations frequently. They take a rented house and operate from there for few months and then again they move to other location. They would also move to other state in every three to four month.

The gang is said to have contacts with Pune based Irani gang that was arrested last time in connection with chain snatching.
