INDIAN WORDS IN OXFORD DICTIONARY
where a number of Indian words have been included this time, what a trend you see? there are 240 Indian words added,in which 60% are Hindi. Apart from that, Indians use a lot of English words with a different and special meaning to it, which indicates that its only used in India and no where else in the world. like for Eg:- timepass, were time and pass are two different words with different meaning to it. Here, its own sense is created, very interesting. jugaad is a small word but its having a meaning, creativity and innovation. Indian English is thus unique.
