RTI: Five sessions and Rs 49 Cr
The state government has spent around Rs. 49 crore for a five legislature session conducted at Belagavi, said RTI activist Bhimappa gadad at a press meet on Friday.
Bhimappa Gadad said, Government has spent Rs 5 Cr. at the first session of five days in KLE Societies JN Medical College. Sum of Rs. 2.11 crore on development of roads, temporary conversion of halls, for furniture Rs. 1.26 cr, For food of ministers and officials Rs. 47.54 lakh, Rs. 32 lakh on police department, Rs 14 lakh on xerox and stationery, Rs 11 lakh for power supply, Rs. 11 lakh for rented vehicles and diesel, For lodging Rs 11 lakh, Rs 4.75 lakh on Entertainment and rs. 77,000 for snacks.
He also added that Rs 12.34 Cr was spent for eight day session at same venue second time, In first seven day session at suvarna vidhan soudha Rs 7.39 Cr was spent, Rs. 14.40 Cr for ten day session in November 2013, and Rs 10 Cr for ten day session in December 2014.
